Charles W. "Chuck" Bolden

Dr. Charles W. "Chuck" Bolden, 65, of Meyersdale, passed away on February 24, 2026.
Born October 30, 1960 in Meyersdale, the son of John Albert "Jack" and Mary Lois (Keegan) Bolden.
Preceded in death by his parents and brothers: John and Michael Bolden.
He is survived by his loving family: wife, JoAnn (Kretchman) Bolden; children: Michael Smidlein, Timothy Smidlein and fiancée Kelli Bennett, Elizabeth Miller and husband Michael, Katherine Hutzell and husband Christian; grandchildren: Lainey and Myla Miller; siblings: Marilyn Price and husband William, and Robert Bolden and wife B.J.
He was a 1978 graduate of Meyersdale Area High School, a graduate of Mount St. Mary's College and then graduated from Temple University, where he received his D.M.D. He operated Charles W. Bolden, D.M.D in Meyersdale for many years.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Meyersdale Public Library, PO Box 98, Meyersdale, PA 15552
